With a passion for architectural details and innovative construction solutions, Kristen brings a wealth of design and project delivery experience, as well as invaluable hands-on construction experience to the et Alia team. She is pragmatic, yet always challenges the status quo, and is deeply invested in the needs of the end user.

Prior to co-founding et Alia, Kristen was a Project Architect with MERGE Architects, Inc. where she coordinated several exciting projects including a hostel, multi-family residential complex, commercial interior, and a museum/interpretive center. Previously, at Schwartz/Silver Architects she worked for 12 years managing residential, cultural, and academic projects, including the $15 million campus center renovation at Brown University. Prior to Schwartz/Silver Kristen worked as a designer at Office dA and architectural intern at Machado + Silvetti Associates.

A native of Massachusetts, Kristen holds an M. Arch with distinction from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, where she was awarded the John E. Thayer Scholarship, and the Cathy Simon Scholarship. Kristen received her BS with highest honors in Art with a concentration in Architecture from Northeastern University. In academia, Kristen has served as Principal Drawing Instructor for Harvard University’s Career Discovery Program, and has taught design studio and architectural representation at Northeastern University.
