Virtual Design Consultation.

We offer a low-cost, low-commitment, 75-minute virtual design consultation as an opportunity to meet with a licensed architect for advice and guidance.   

We will customize the session to meet your specific needs.  Here is a sampling of the types of topics that we can cover:

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Step 1: 

Fill out the booking form below, be sure to check out the link to the Service Agreement and check the box confirming that you agree to the terms, click on BOOK NOW.  A booking interface will pop-up to allow you to schedule the consultation and set up the payment. Once these are completed, your consultation is booked.

Step 2:  

You will receive a welcome email from us with the Zoom meeting link, an intake form to provide us with more detailed information, and an opportunity to send us photos, videos, and/or drawings.  We will review all of the information that you share prior to meeting with you.  Thoroughly explaining and documenting your questions and what you hope to get out of the meeting will help us to best meet your needs.

Step 3:  

On the day and time of the meeting, follow the link provided in the welcome email.  Make sure that Zoom is downloaded to your computer in advance of the meeting, and that your microphone and camera are working.

Step 4: 

You will receive a follow-up email that will include PDFs of any documentation that we shared during the session. 

FEE:   $510 ($600) currently 15% off

Amount is due upon booking.  Cancel prior to 24-hours for a full refund; within 24-hours for a 50% refund (within 24 hours we will have already started to review your questions and documents, and prepare for the meeting).   

This consultation service is a fully standalone offering. Should you hire Atelier et Alia for a Concept /Feasibility Study or for Full Architectural Services, we will credit the cost of the consultation towards those services.

 

FAQ’s

Either works, but sending photos or videos for us to review prior to the meeting will enable us to be better prepared, and could result in a more productive meeting.   

The Consultation is a 75-minute discussion about the building design topic for which you seek advice. This is a low-cost, low-commitment alternative to hiring an architect for more detailed design services.  We do not provide any project drawings or sketches as part of the Consultation.

The Concept Design / Feasibility Study is a design study that involves getting measured drawings of the building/site and exploring multiple floor plan layout options.  Please refer to the detailed description on the Concept Study Services page.

If you are unsure which service is best for you at this time, please feel free to call or email us – we are happy to help!

We will request the project address (so we can research the property information available online), what type of projects you are considering (e.g., interior renovation, addition, etc.), and which building design topics you would like to discuss.

Should you have photographs, plans, or sketches of your property, those are also very helpful.  

We do not provide floorplans or architectural drawings as part of the Consultation Service.  For floorplans or architectural drawings please refer to the other offerings on our Services page.

The Consultation Service is advisory only. The Consultation Service excludes preparation of design or permit drawings; advice regarding building structure, building systems such as heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and site elements such as drainage, civil, and geotechnical; and estimates of construction costs.

After the meeting, we will email you PDFs of any documents that we presented and reviewed together on the call.
