Christina brings to Atelier et Alia strong leadership in executing a diversity of project types and scales of work. As a project architect at Payette Associates, Christina coordinated the design of technically complex campus buildings at Williams College and the award-winning lab renovation at Cornell University’s Kimball Hall. Christina previously practiced architecture for over a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area including with Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, a firm renown for its design and sustainability leadership and recipient of the 2016 AIA Firm Award, and with Studio Bondy Architects, a leader in K-12 school design in northern California. Through her projects with various schools, universities, and institutions, Christina has developed an expertise for bringing together various user groups, entities, and experts, to achieve a strong overall project and vision.

Christina received her Master in Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design and her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Christina has taught design studio extensively, previously at the California College of the Arts and currently at Wentworth Institute of Technology.  With her background in both engineering and architecture, Christina’s design approach embraces projects with strong conceptual thinking whose thoughtful integration of building systems ensures both a comprehensive vision and a well-functioning design. She enjoys the strategic thinking needed to execute compelling projects and relishes digging into the details and processes to fully realize the design.
