It is widely accepted today that collaboration is needed to achieve great design, but what about the design of collaboration? Strong collaboration doesn’t just happen by getting everyone in a room, around a table, or on the same software platform. It is a process that needs to be deliberately designed in order to stretch the boundaries of our thinking, broaden inclusivity, and create a more sustainable collective momentum.
Christina Marsh, working with Mason Smith of Collective Next, will be presenting on the design collaborative endeavors including how:
- Collaboration is designed
- Collaboration operates at multiple scales
- Any project that requires collaboration is also a team building exercise
- Collaboration requires multiple modalities
We hope you can join us! “Catalyzing Collaboration” will be held on February 15 from 8:30-10:00 by Design Museum Morning at Collective Next (129 South Street, Boston). Tickets are available on the Design Museum website here.
