INTERLOCK receives Honourable Mention in Volume Zero design competition

From the project brief

” The participants’ designs for their houses need to be paradigms of inventiveness and originality, with an emphasis on sustainability.

The house could address the issue of mobility; the housing unit need not be movable but could be designed as an addition that can be towed by a car or pickup.

The area of the house should not exceed 250 sq ft and significance needs to be given to the connection between the interiors and the outdoor surroundings.

With Client Interaction being a key part of the design evaluation, the participants may choose to design for an individual, a couple or a group of people, as their design concept demands.”
